Stumptown (OR) Boys, Run Brave (ID) Girls Retain US#1 Spot as NXV Championship Week Looms
We're now one week away from the start of NXV Championship Week (November 16-24), as the nation's top teams and individuals will virtually go head-to-head to decide this year's Nike Cross Virtual champions!
During Week #7 competition, Stumptown Running XC Club (OR) retained their US#1 position with 111 points, but it was Orem XC Club (UT) making their way up the leaderboard, taking over US#2 with 194 that put a shock into the top 10.
On the girls side, Run Brave XC Club (ID) maintained the US#1 position they've held all season, currently sitting at a 142-177 advantage over US#2 Ridgewood XC Club (NJ).
Tatum David (So., IMG Academy XC Club, FL) sits US#1 for the second week in a row, while Mia Barnett (Sr., Crescenta Valley, CA) maintained her top three status at US#2. Kate Peters (So., Lake Oswego XC Club, OR) jumped to US#3 with a 16:43 5k performance this past weekend.
